Ozone and Pollution

With ozone and pollution, there are two seperate clauses that can branch off in to other things. What I mean is; Ozone is it's own seperate subject, their can be good or bad ozone, high or ground-level ozone.
Bad Ozone is usually what some people consider ground-level ozone. Ground level ozone basically consists of exaust from cars or even industrial sites (like machinery that gives off waste).

Bad ozone is also one of the main causes of smog. Smog is a mixture of pretty much all the things that make up bad ozone, the pollutants gather up and create a dark fog-like substance. Smog can be very harmful not only to us humans but also to other animals and wildlife. Smog is usually in busy areas like for example, New York, but they can also be in open areas like, Texas or Oklahoma.

How can smog affect open, country regions?
Well smog can affect areas that may not nessicarly have all the pollutiants that can cause it, but since smog is considered a gas, it can travel. That means that smog can affect anywhere the wind blows it.

High ozone is considered 'good ozone'. The reason that High Ozone is good is because it is about 20-30 miles above the Earth, and it protects us from the suns harmful rays and  keeps life on earth.

 What is pollution?
Well the dictionary says, "The introduction of harmful substances or products into the enviorment." And thats true but it really does'nt specify. The common beleif is that humans are the cause of pollution... but that is not nessicarly true, their are also natural products that were produced on the earth that can be harmful to the enviorment!

 What is ozone-pollutiom?
Well it's kind of self explainatory, just combine the meaning of ozone and the meaning of pollution, ' The introduction of harmful substances or products into the ozone,' some people know this effect more commonly as, global warming.
When the ground-level ozone is polluted it can cause health problems and smog (for an example), but when the high-ozone is polluted, it cannot only cause health problems but it can also weaken the high-ozone, and result in holes that can let sun rays in, what is most commonly known as the 'Green House Effect,' or ' Global Warming.'
